A note from Sofia Williamsson,  Owner, Matilija Unlimited
 

To answer your question, it’s pronounced
“mah-TIL-ih-ha”. The majestic Matilija, native to California, is the largest poppy flower known among plant admirers as “The Queen of California” .  Its' delicate, yet powerful, innate resilience are core attributes I identify with, and try to bring to the table every day in my professional career and in life.     

 

For the past 25+ years, I have been building, planning, producing and growing meetings & events in a variety of industries including tour & travel, wellness & fitness, hospitality, SaaS, retail, and event technology.  With Matilija Unlimited, I’m putting my experience, professionalism, expertise and contacts to work to  help your business event grow, flourish, and succeed! 

 

eMeet Sofia


Sofia lives with her husband and 13-year old twins and two dogs in Sonoma County, California.  She is - in no particular order -  a super-mom, a passionate aspiring artist,  an avid anarchy gardener, a dog lover, and is known for laughing often at her own funny jokes. In her spare time you will  find her cheering loudly at a youth sports game...at the beach...or working on a "kitchen-counter-art" piece.
